Guwahati Kaziranga Tour

Day 01, Arrival at Guwahati : Upon arrival, you will meet our representative and transfer to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel. After freshening up, get ready for an evening ride to Brahmaputra River. You will view the sunset while cruising on the Brahmaputra River. After this amazing experience of exploring the nature, get back to the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.

Day 02, A trip to Majuli River Island After breakfast, get ready for a tour to Majuli River Island, which is the biggest island on Brahmaputra River. Majuli is also home to migratory birds. In the evening, get back to the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.

Day 03, Visit to Kamakhya devi temple : After breakfast, you will be paying a visit to the holy temple, Kamakhya devi temple. You can also visit Bhubaneswari temple, which is located above the Kamakhya temple. Post this visit, get ready to visit the holy Umananda temple. After the temples tour, we will drive to Karziranga National Park. After reaching Kaziranga National Park, you will be received by our representative who will transfer you to the hotel where you will receive a warm traditional welcome. Check-in at the hotel and get freshen-up before proceeding further. In the evening, explore the local area and market. After that, enjoy the dinner and then stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 04, Kaziranga National Park : Early morning we drive to the Elephant ride point. We will see the National Park on Elephant back. The Central Range or Kohora as locally known has a mix of Grassland and Woodland. It is home to pelicans, storks and darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park. In mammals, apart from the Rhino, other species found are, hog deer, swamp deer, wild buffalo, Elephants and if you are lucky, the tiger. Return to the Lodge for breakfast. Midmorning visit local village to see their way of life on your own. Return to the lodge for lunch.

Post lunch go for a Jeep Safari inside Central range of the National Park. Overnight stay at resort.

Day 05, Kaziranga National Park : Early morning we drive to the Elephant ride point. We will see the National Park on Elephant back. Day 06, Kaziranga National Park : Today after a leisurely breakfast we shall drive to the Burapahar Range to walk inside the National Park. The track starts from a place called Pani Juri Camp and goes up-to the banks of River Brahmaputra and back. Through the midst of the Woodland, that Burapahar is so famous for, the guests mostly gets to see Capped Langurs, Elephants and the Great Indian Hornbill and if lucky you may get to see Hollock Gibbon. We shall track for about 2 hrs with our in-house naturalist and 02 forest guards, after which we shall come back to our Lodge for Lunch. Post lunch go for a Jeep Safari inside the Westarn range of the Kaziranga National Park. Overnight stay at resort.

Day 07, Kaziranga National Park ? Guwahati Departure: After breakfast transfer to Guwahati, board the flight for onward destination.
