Kerala Backwaters Tour with South India Temples

Day 01, Arrival at Kochi: You will receive a warm welcome from Travel Fair India representative at Kochi airport. He will guide you to hotel where you will receive a garland welcome. You can have some rest at hotel or order some coffee/tea to get freshen up. In the evening, you will go explore markets of Kochi. After exploring the markets of the city, you will have an exotic dinner at of the famous restaurant of the city. After dinner, stay overnight at hotel.

Day 02, Kochi sightseeing: On the second day of the tour with Travel Fair India, you will explore Kochi city and its surrounding places. After breakfast, Travel Fair India representative will drive you to Kochi fort. Here at Kochi fort, you will get to witness the Chinese fishing net. After Kochi fort, you will move to explore the Hill museum where you will witness some great historical collections of pieces. After visiting these two famous places, you will go for lunch at one of the traditional restaurant of Kochi. In the afternoon, you can explore the city yourself. You will get to explore the natural beauty here surrounded by hush green environment. In the evening, you will go to watch the world famous performance of Kathakali. Kathakali is the dance that is famous in all over the world. It connects one with Ramayana and Mahabharata. Here in this dance program, you will find enormous knowledge about Indian dance culture and tradition.

Day 03, Kochi -Kumarakom: Today after breakfast, our representative will drive you to Kumarakom. The place is famous for backwater tour. It is one of the amazing places in Kerala. Here at Kumarakom, you will enjoy the wonderful sailing in the backwaters of Kumarakom. After this, you will move to explore the famous bird sanctuary of Kumarakom. Here at bird sanctuary, you will find huge variety of birds. After exploring beautiful birds at bird sanctuary, you will go to Kerala Ayurvedic resort where you can enjoy the spa massage with best Kerala herbals. After enjoying spa at Kerala ayurvedic resort, you will be served Kerala style special dinner at famous restaurant in Kumarakom. After dinner, stay overnight at hotel.

Day 04, Kumarakom: Your fourth day of the tour will go into exploring Kumarakom and its surrounding places. After breakfast, you will go for backwater tour. During your backwatering tour, you will visit many historical places and will do the fun activities like fishing and many more. During backwater tour, you will get to explore Vembanad Lake that is considering the largest lake in the southern parts of India. After visiting Vembanad Lake, you will get to enjoy ayurevedic massage. After enjoying your time with world famous Kerala massage, you will be served gorgeous traditional cuisine of Kerala at dinner. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Kumarakom - Periyar: On the fifth day of your tour, Travel Fair India representative will drive you to Periyar. On your arrival at Periyar, you will check-in at the hotel. You can relax in the hotel for some-time before moving further. After this, we will go to enjoy the backwaters at Thekkady, Kumily and Periyar. After enjoying backwaters, you will get to explore National Park Periyar. This is one the famous wildlife sanctuary where you can find wide variety of tigers and leopards. After visiting national park of Periyar, you will enjoy your dinner and then stay overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Periyar - Madurai:After breakfast, Travel Fair India representative will drive you to Madurai. The places that is famous for traditional and historical temples in southern part of India. On your arrival, you will check-in at the hotel. After that you will go visit the famous temple known as Meenakshi Sundareshwar temple. After visiting the temple, you will go to famous restaurant in the city to enjoy the lunch, if you want you can experiences the spherical south Indian cuisine. After yummy food, you will go to visit Azhagar Kovil. Azhagar Kovil is also known as Alagar temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is near about 21 kilometers away from Madurai city. In the evening, you will explore the markets of Madurai and can do some shopping as well. Stay overnight at hotel after lip smacking dinner.

Day 07: Madurai- Trichy:On the seventh day of your Kerala Backwaters Tour with South India Temples, you will go to Trichy. After breakfast, Travel Fair India representative will drive you to Trichy. On your arrival, you will check-in at the hotel. Some the world famous temples that you will get to explore here are Srirangam temple, Ayyapan temple, Samayapuram temple, Athmanathaswamy temple and temples of Gunaseelam and Thiruvellarai. After visiting these temples, you can spend your evening in doing exploring the markets of Trichy and shopping. Later in the evening, you will get to enjoy dinner at one of the famous restaurant of Trichy. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 08, Trichy- Tanjore: Today after breakfast, Travel Fair India representative will drive you to Tanjore. The city is famous with historical temples. On your arrival, check-in at the hotel. Some of the famous places to visit in Tanjore are like Sri Bragadeeswarar Temple, Palace, Art Gallery, Royal Museum & Serforji Memorial Hall, Tholkappiyar Sadukkam, Sangeetha Mahal, Punnai Nallur (Mariamman Temple) and other famous places. In the evening, enjoy shopping at local markets of Tanjore. After yummy dinner, stay overnight at hotel.

Day 09: Tanjore - Pondicherry: On the ninth day of your tour, you will be driven to Pondicherry. Here at Pondicherry, you will get to visit many world famous places that include Jalaram Temple, Thirunallar temple, Varadraja temple, Masthan Saheb Darga and many other tourist attraction places. After visiting all these famous places, you will relax for some time in your hotel. In the evening go to visit the markets of Pondicherry which has many well-known shopping malls and branded showrooms for shopping. After shopping, you will be served gorgeous dinner at one of the famous traditional restaurant of the city. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Pondicherry - Mahabalipuram: Today after breakfast, you will be moving to Mahabalipuram. The distance between two cities is near about 132 kilometers and around four to five hours journey. You will reach Mahabalipuram in the afternoon. On your arrival, check-in at the hotel. You can relax at your hotel room. In the late afternoon, you will go visit famous temples that are Shore Temple and Mandapas. After visiting temples, you will enjoy your dinner and stay overnight at hotel.

Day 11, In Mahabalipuram: On the 11th day of your tour, you will spend whole in exploring Mahabalipuram and its surrounding places. After breakfast, Travel Fair India representative will drive you to famous temples of south India, located in Mahabalipuram including Arjuna's Penance: Pancha Pandava Rathas. After this, enjoy your lunch. In the afternoon you will visit some famous caves at Mahabalipuram and then in the evening you will go to visit Krishna's Butterball. After all this, enjoy your dinner at famous restaurant in the city. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 12, Mahabalipuram - Chennai: Here comes the last day of your Kerala Backwaters Tour with South India Temples. on the last day after breakfast, Travel Fair India representative will drive you to Chennai which is around 58 kilometers away. Once you reach you will be taken to Chennai airport where you will board a flight for your home and say good-bye to Travel Fair India.
