Island adventure of Sri-Lanka

Day 01, Arrival in Negombo: Welcome to Island adventure tour to Sri Lanka. On your arrival Bandaranaike International Airport, you will receive a warm welcome. After arrival, you will be transfer to the hotel at Negombo. If you have time in the evening, you will go for a boat ride in Dutch channels. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 02, Negombo ? Sigiriya: On the second day of Tour, you will move to next destination of the tour that is Sigiriya. The diatnce between two places is near about 153 kilometers and takes approximately five hours to reach. Sigiriya is the place that is famous for rock climbing in the country. Here at Sigiriya, you will be climbing the rock fortress of Sigiriya. It is the 5th century fortress. Later you will be transfer to the hotel in Kandalama. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 03, Sigiriya: Enjoy the breakfast in the morning and move to Sigiriya where you will get to enjoy sites of the land in a hot air balloon. Also enjoy the beautiful view of nature. In the afternoon, enjoy the lunch and then leave for a Jeep Safari to Minneriya National Park. The national park is very much famous for wildlife creatures of Sri-Lanka. Some of the creatures that you will spot here are like Sambar, leopards, Sloth bear, elephants and many more. In the evening, you will be back to the hotel in Kandalama. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 04, Sigiriya ? Kandy : After breakfast, we will drive you to Kandy which is 4 hours journey. On the way to Kandy, you will visit Spice garden in Matale. The distance between two places is near about 95 kilometers. Upon your arrival, check-in at the hotel and then later enjoy Kandy tour. Visit famous sacred temples of Tooth Relic. Later visit Kandyan Arts & Cultural Centre where you will get to watch Kandyan Cultural show. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 05, Kandy - Nuwara Eliya: Today after breakfast, we will move to the next destination of the tour called Nuwara Eliya. You will enjoy this journey by train. The distance between two places is near about 79 kilometers. Nuwara Eliya is best known for tea cultivation and also known as tea country. Upon your arrival, check-in at the hotel. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 06, Nuwara Eliya- Horton Plains - Nuwara Eliya: After breakfast, you will move to Horton Plains which is the highest plateau in Sri Lanka. Horton Plains is located near about 36 kilometers away from Nuwara Eliya and takes one hour to reach. Here you will get to see 880 meters escarpment.

In the afternoon, you will be back to Nuwara Eliya. Enjoy the lunch and then explore famous attractions of Nuwara Eliya including Nuwara Eliya Town, Market place, Golf Course and the Hill club. In the evening, drive around hill station and see wonderful view of Gregory Lake. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 07, Nuwara Eliya- Kitulgala: Enjoy the breakfast in the morning and then we leave for Kitulgala. Kitulgala is approximately 96 kilometers away from Nuwara Eliya and takes around three hours to reach. Kitulgala is a beautiful hill slope that is famous for water rafting, trekking and other sports activities. You will also visit Kelani Forest Reserve which is well known place for bird watching.

In the afternoon, enjoy the lunch and then we will drive you to Colombo. Upon your arrival at Colombo, check-in at the hotel and explore the city. The city is best place for shopping in the country. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 08, Colombo (departure): Your Island adventure of Sri-Lanka comes to an end here. After breakfast, our representative will transfer you to the hotel where you will board an onwards flight.
